Everyone in my area are focused on this food allergy business. No gluten, no sugar, no starch and no lactose. Its annoying. Its more so among the JW's because they want to stay alive till the end of this system. They are convinced we are sickly because we are farther from perfection and our bodies are breaking down. As if eating different could stop that process. Fools.

Dietary Quirks Among JWs
by millie210 ini recently had to accompany an older family member out of state to a family reunion.
it was a big reunion and not much was overtly made of the fact that i am "misguided" and not attending meetings (lost soul that i am) which was nice.
the thing i noticed that i was most struck by was all the dietary quirks in evidence during our 3 days together.

my jw friends that came to my house months ago finally have figured out i am in no way going to become a jw (how it took them that long i have no idea).
now the change to them wanting to have nothing to do with me has begun.

All the things you had that attracted them, video games, tv's, vehicles or clothes are not available because you opted not to join the vast bullshit army. So enjoy your toys and make real friends that have their own toys and don't need to exploit yours. You didn't mention any of this, but I clearly am aware how they scheme. Go and sin no more! Have a good life and don't bother with them.

How/when did you become a jehovas witness?
by Lewis1998 inso i've been a protestant for most of my life, it's how i was raised, but recently i started questioning my faith more and more and now i feel like my beliefs resemble that of a jehovas witness rather than a protestant.
i don't know any jehovas witnesses, so i was just wondering how a lot of you found the religion and adapted to it?.

Parents were exposed in the late 50's and adopted many customs, no birthdays, blood, holidays etc. Was raised "around" the religion. Die hard aunt kept pushing. I followed thru on my own and baptized at 16. The rest of my siblings fell like dominoes. YEARS later my mom was baptized in the 90's. Dad never fell for it fully. I guess it was my fault we got sucked in.

14 Years in full-time service

i just don't have that much time nowadays.. my mother was always proud, and used to mention to a lot of people, that i already was in field-service when i was seven weeks old.
well, i'm a february child, so you understand how cold it was in my pram.

This whole story could be summarized by simply saying, I had a huge tumor for years that I thought was beautiful until the doctor told me it was killing me. I had it surgically removed. Problem solved. I am glad you finally cut the cult out of your life.

It's ironic that all the things that most posters on this thread applaud America for, are the very things that are being abused and protested against by the sincerest of players in football. Even the reviling of the President, for their lawfully given right to protest is in honor of those who fought and died to protect such action. Nope, protest is not meant to be popular. They have succeeded and Comrade Trump has been called out on his strongman tactics. Down with the Orange person in the White House.
